The winners of the tenth edition of the Dedalo Minosse Award have been announced. This event which refers to architectural buildings that have already been created, focuses attention on the commissioning client and has just finished. It is an event aimed at recognizing, discussing and reflecting on the role of those who invest money, thought and time in improving the world we live in.
With 2016/2017 being its tenth edition, the Dedalo Minosse Award is celebrating twenty years of existence and has created the Andrea Palladio Award, a special prize to mark the occasion which will be given to an outstanding client who has distinguished himself for particularly enlightened and constant activities over the last twenty years. There was a great deal of participation in this edition with over 400 entries received from almost 40 countries from around the world.
There are 4 major Awards and 10 Special Awards while 10 commissioning clients receive special mentions and 51 are published. The winning projects will be featured in a multimedia exhibition open to the public from 24th June to 16th July 2017 at the Palazzo Chiericati Civic Museum in Vicenza which will tell their story through drawings, photos, plastic mock-ups and videos as well as a review of the international commission that will bring together over 70 works created over the last 5 years.
