Gucci’s new Art Walls

Posted on

Gucci is proud to present its new Art Wall project to the public, created to celebrate the new collaboration between the Italian fashion house and the Spanish artist Coco Capitán.
After the enormous wall murals created in New York by the famous California illustrator Jayde Fish and the Milanese wall – located in Largo La Foppa to be precise – created by the British artist Angelica Hicks, Gucci once more openly reveals its passion for Street Art.

Coco Capitán has created two pieces, one in New York and one in Milan. The US wall mural displays the expression “What are we going to do with all this future”, while the one in Corso Garibaldi lambasts passers-by with the ironic phrase (but with a good dose of truth) “Common sense is not that common”. Now, we have to wait for the new twin artistic-fashion move by Alessandro Michele, who is Gucci’s creative director as well as a well-known art enthusiast.
