Re-Thinking Re-vive: New Icons for New York

Posted on

Natuzzi Italia revitalized the New York Design Week with an excellent event held on May 22nd at a beautiful location in the heart of Soho.
Re-Thinking Re-vive: New Icons for New York was Natuzzi Italia’s project for NYCxDesign, the event that has become a key stage on the international design circuit.
Re-vive
, Natuzzi Italia’s most iconic armchair, was the star of the evening and was reinterpreted by three New York artists: Ed Granger, Hektad and Jon Burgerman.

On this occasion Re-vive, the world’s first and only armchair with a reclining system that can adapt perfectly to the human body, became a canvas on which the artists were able to express themselves by transforming a design object into a work of art. The event took place in collaboration with Design Industries Foundation Fighting AIDS, the association that since 1984 has mobilized the resources and creative potential of the designer community to fund therapies and education programs in the struggle against AIDS.
