The press conference held on February 8 at the beautiful Metropol space kicked off the countdown to the 56th edition of the Milan Salone del Mobile.
The 5 events that will take place simultaneously from Tuesday 4th to Sunday 9th of April 2017 at the Milan Trade Show site at Rho are the International Salone del Mobile, the International Furnishing Accessories Exhibition, Euroluce, Workplace3.0 S and SaloneSatellite.
Year after year the Salone del Mobile re-confirms itself as an essential resource for the city of Milan thanks to its ability to attract workers, visitors, designers, buyers and journalists from around the world. “Design is a state of its own. And Milan is its capital”is the payoff of the Italian communication campaign that intends to confirm and highlight the role of the city as the capital of furniture design culture.
After the successful launch of the latest edition of xLux – the industry sector dedicated to timeless luxury reinterpreted in a contemporary style – the International Salone del Mobile continues its renewal programme with a new format for classic furniture and accessories.
The Workplace3.0 event dedicated to the work environment and the biennial Euroluce exhibition will take place alongside the International Salone del Mobile in addition to the International Furnishing Accessories Exhibition and the Salone Satellite.
Together with the commercial side, two events at the show will be dedicated to light and the work place. The first, edited by the Ciarmoli Queda Studio is titled DeLightFuL which stands for Design, Light, Future and Living while the second event, A Joyful Sense at Work edited by Cristiana Cutrona expresses a vision of the evolution of future office environments.
Space&interiors, the only event connected with the Milan Salone del Mobile and dedicated to architectural finishes and trimmings also returns and will be held at The Mall Porta Nuova.
