The Student Hotel Firenze Lavagnini has won The Best in Class award, established by The Class 2020, for the development of new student accommodation. The hotel has been recognised because through its design and attention to detail it is able to offer students the maximum opportunity for learning, personal development and the creation of lifelong memories. TSH permits a maximum stay of 10 months, during which students will not only find accommodation but a real community where they can study and mature on a personal level. 390 rooms were create in the historic Florentine Palazzo Lavagnini, 50% of which are for students, 45% are hotel rooms and the remaining 5% reserved for short stays.
Given the international success of this new concept in hospitality and following the opening of the Dresden hotel last November, the company is already planning to open new hotels in Bologna and Berlin this year. 2020 on the other hand will see the opening of new branches in Madrid, Porto and Vienna. In 2021, the group aims to open in Paris, Carcavelos, Lisbon, Rome, Toulouse, Barcelona and again in Florence with the redevelopment of the historic Manifattura Tabacchi.
