At the Spazio FMG for Architecture, the Iris Ceramica and FMG Fabbrica Marmi e Graniti gallery-showroom in Milan, the We play, you play exhibition is open to the public until September 29th. The exhibition, curated by Giancarlo Mazzanti and Luca Molinari, presents the work of the visionary Colombian studio El Equipo Mazzanti and features twenty work desks around which visitors can get to work firsthand and relate directly to Mazzanti’s basic architectural forms.
The exhibition is a genuinely interactive event that transforms the space of the gallery into a real laboratory where architectural forms are reproduced in the form of real-life coloured “toys” available to the public as a starting point for the creation of new compositions, the results of which will go on to become part of the exhibition.
There are also diagrams, drawings, photographs and videos showing already created projects such as the El Porvenir primary school buildings in Bogotá and Timayui at Santa Marta, the Fundación Pies Descalzos in Cartagena and the Marinilla Educational Park in Bogotá along with proposals for the new Velodrome and sports facilities for the 2010 South American Games in Medellín.
